I thought about splitting this into 2 parts because I know some people (read: Robyn) don’t like to read “freak long” entries all at once. But Robyn won’t read this anyway, so whatever.
It all actually started on Thursday (the 23rd) - I was anxious for the weekend to start I guess. I went with some friends from freshman year to the midnight showing of High School Musical 3! I know what you are thinking, that I am 21 and should probably be over things like that by now. But seriously, no one is too old for High School Musical. The End.
Anyway, I went to the movie mainly because I thought it would be fun and silly and I got to wear a HSM shirt bought in the little girls section at Wal-Mart. But the movie ended up being so great! DISCLAIMER: When I say “great” I mean great in the cheesy, completely predictable, and made-solely-to-satisfy-the-fans way. Just an FYI. So it was great! I think the best though was that obviously everyone in that theater wanted to be there, so everyone was SOOO excited. Also there were only 12 boys there so of course everyone was Zac Efron crazy. The first shot of the movie is of his face, and let me tell you, I could hear nothing but girl shrieks for at least 2 minutes. Also, there were definitely TONS of people dressed up- a bunch of people in red graduation robes, like us a lot of t-shirts clearly bought in the children’s section, and even a couple dressed up as Ryan and Sharpay. It was practically HSM Halloween.
Moving on from that… On Friday my mom came up to Provo to spend some time with me (and my sister I guess J). That night she took me and my sister and a bunch of friends to dinner and then to the play Aida at Hale Center Theater in Orem. I highly recommend that play, it is great. Although I am not the biggest fan of that theater, I felt it was a pretty good performance. After the play my mom filled my car with gas (which, let’s be honest, is the only real reason I keep her around) and we went back to my apartment and hung out. The next day she took me grocery shopping (see previous note about gas) and then a little after that my brother and dad came and picked her up and took her away from me- they had been at the football game. But I was really glad she was able to come up! Love you mom!
Ok, so this past weekend was also good. As I’m sure you have already been informed, Halloween was on Friday. I would post some super hott pics of my costume but unfortunately I didn’t dress up this year. Sorry. I didn’t have the most eventful of Halloweens, the high points were when Kim got pulled over (not a high point because I was happy she got pulled over, but because she didn’t get a ticket) and when we went to a party we were invited to and we were the only ones that showed up.
Saturday I once again went to HSM3. I know what you are thinking, that I just saw it and why would I see it again so soon. But seriously, you can’t see this movie too many times. The End. I HAD to go though because Robyn and Marissa wanted to see it, and since I was invited I didn’t want to be a jerk-face and decline their invitation. AKA I really wanted to go again, it was sort of my idea. So that was great. Since I already pretty much knew the songs I was jamming out the whole time and doing a cute little seat dance, which I am pretty sure embarrassed Robyn to the maximum. After the movie we decided we wanted pizza, so we got some from Papa John’s and then went to Kiwanis Park to eat it on top of the jungle gym. We were in really funny/crazy moods and I was getting a little camera happy so of course many super attractive pictures resulted. I love us.
