Day 44- The End!

Today was 7 hours longer than it really was. That statement doesn’t really make sense, but it is true. Let me explain. We left our hotel at about 9 and went to the airport. Robyn and I had the same flight from Shannon to JFK, and it was about 7 hours long. On the flight I watched 3 movies and before I knew it we were there. I was so excited to be back on U.S. soil! The second we landed I got out my cell phone and turned it on, mainly just because I was so excited it finally worked again. At the airport we called family and friends and worked on our paper. Yes, we have a paper that is due tomorrow that we haven’t finished. Lame. After waiting for a while we said our goodbyes and left on our respective flights (that word choice it for Robyn, even though she doesn’t read this). I had to sit on the plane for about an hour before we took off because of a long line of planes that we were behind and also because of the lady on our flight who got on the wrong plane. Seriously, how do you do that? But we finally left and about another 7 hours later I was in Vegas! As far as the 7 hours extra thing since London is 7 hours ahead of St. George it was really like one of my flights didn’t even happen (I wish!). I rushed to the baggage claim where I met my mom and little brother. I love my family. After waiting another half an hour for my stupid bag to come out we were on the road to home. We got home at about midnight and I collapsed into my own comfortable bed after being awake for about 24 hours. It is so good to be home!

So that is the end of my adventurous study abroad. I will be home for about a week and a half before embarking on my next adventure- my senior year of college!
