Vacation - Day 4

Today we went to Old Sturbridge Village, which is a recreation of a New England village from the 1800s. There really isn’t all that much to say about it…there were some churches, some houses, a bank, a general store, a glass-making place, a cooper shop, and of course a blacksmith. I liked that one the best because a) the guy who was at the blacksmith hot was really attractive and b) it was warm in there which was nice because it was rainy and kind of cold. They also had some really pretty covered bridges and some cool mills.

After we walked around the village for a while we ate at the tavern and went to the giftshop. One thing that always happens on our vacations is a trip to the gift shop after every activity. So while there Conner found a little broom made out of broomcorn (aka what Bob the broom-maker made his brooms out of) so he took the opportunity to show how much he misses Bob.
